Rare-Earth Products

The need in various types of rare-earth products is existing and increasing. The development of the full production cycle- from raw material to the final products - became in Russia the task of paramount importance.

This is the reason of establishing and functioning at ChMP within the bounds of conversion programme the production of the following types of rare-earth products:
rare-earth carbonates;
light rare-earth oxid concentrate;
Polishing powder on the base of rare-earth oxides.

Rare-earth carbonates
Grade A - fine-dispersive crystallic powder, white or grey with tints from yellow to brown, representing the solid solution of light rare-earths.
Grade B - wet white paste with grey or brown tint representing water suspension of mixter of light rare-earth carbonates. The rates of technical indexes according to grades:

Purpose - production of polishing powders, rare-earth oxides and individual metals.

Polishing powder "Optipol"
fine-dispersive crystallic brown powder with different tints representing solid solution of light rare-earth oxides. The rates of technical indexes:

*Aqueous extract reaction, pH*	*6 - 8*

Purpose - treatment of optical glasses and optical members of electronic and special equipment.

Concentrate of Rare-Earth Oxides of Cerium group
fine-dispersive crystallic brown powder with various tints. The rates of technical indexes :

*Fraction than ,of total mass of rare-earth oxide sum,%, not less*	98
*including cerium oxide,%, not less than*	49

Purpose - glass industry, manufacturing of radioceramics and pigments, alloying of alloys.
