Beechwood Sacred Heart

Beechwood Sacred Heart is a small (day and boarding) girls' school, offering a particularly caring and individual approach, with a modern and excellent academic provision based on traditional British education, in privileged surroundings. Intensive English Language lessons for foreign students and other forms of individual learning support, are provided as part of the curriculum. Music, Drama, Arts and Sports are offered in a comprehensive and carefully balanced programme of activities, designed for the physical, creative, social and spiritual development of our girls within a strong Christian ethos.

Most of the pupils enter British or American universities, with the support of a strong Careers Programme throughout the middle and upper schools. Our aim is to encourage each one of our pupils to develop and to excel at their individual talents and to grow into articulate, independent young women, ready to follow their own interests and prepared to balance the demands of career and family life anywhere in the world.

The Sixth form enjoy a greater degree of independence and freedom in return for the major part they play in the day-to-day life of the school. This encourages a sense of responsibility for others and further develops their self-confidence

Located in the outskirts of this historic Kentish spa town, the School can be easily reached from London by a 45 minutes train journey from Charing Cross Station. It is equally convenient for arrival at Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted airports, and the Channel ports. An Escort Service, employing members of staff is provided from London and the main airports.
