Hospitality & Tourism Management Hotel Management has been a discipline of Napier since it opened as an academic institution. It provided the first degree programme in the sector in Scotland in 1978 and the first undergraduate degree in Tourism in Scotland. As befitting a capital city we have therefore been able to build on a long established tradition of high quality management education by extending commercial and public sector links in Edinburgh to similar capital cities and commercial companies, and academic contacts internationally enhance both student and academic exchanges and collaboration. Teaching and research are the means by which we express our aims but these are measured by a history of satisfied, employable students who are up to date with industry challenges and lifelong career opportunity |
