Characteristics
Port is located at Black Sea coast along North - Western part of Odessa bay (Ukraine) on the artificially created territory of 109,5 hectares (coordinates: lat. - 46 gr. 32 min. N; long.- 30 gr. 54 min. W). Total shoreline length - 7230 m. Port’s work does not depend on season and weather. Interior port waters are defended by breakwaters. Port accepts to interior waters the ships up to 240 m in length and draught up to 11,5 m.
Port includes the Oil Harbour, container handling facility, the passenger area and 7 facilities for handling dry - cargoes.
Port's capacities may be handle up to 14 mln tons of dry-cargoes and about 24 mln tons of oil products. Port's passenger terminal may receive up to 4 mln passengers per year.
Delivery and sending cargo off may be effected by railway or by trucks. Entering, leaving and shifting vessels is round - the - clock and assisted by Pilot service, whose technical facilities allow to pilot ships in poor visibility.
Specialized Terminals allow to handle any kind of cargo.
Large spectrum of supplementary services may be offered.
