Cargo Handling Actually the handling of cargo may be done at berths and at roadstead if needed. The list of handled cargoes: non - ferrous and ferrous metals, equipment, vehicles, chemical fertilizers ( packed or in bulk), paper, raw sugar in bulk, cereals (packed or in bulk), citrus fruits, bananas and other cargoes packed in bags, boxes, packages, big - bags, containers. It is prohibited to handle in port the explosive, harmful cargoes and cargoes pollutting the territory and the atmosphere. Handling operations at berth are executed with gantry cranes with capacity of 5 - up to 40 tns. Cargo may be handled at berth and at roadstead with floating cranes with capacity of 15 up to 100 tns as well as with floating cereal discharger. Any kind of dry - cargo with the exception of containers may be handled by stevedoring companies: "Metalsukraine Corp.
