Ballistic Helmets

NII Stali is the only Russian company which manufactures whole-stamped ballistic helmets made of high-strength titanium and aluminium alloys, armour steels as well as composite materials.

Helmets produced by NII Stali offer protection against PM. TT pistol bullets, 9mm Para bullets with the velocities of 410-420 m/s as well as against 1 g fragments with V50 < 610-650 m/s.

Titanium and aluminium helmets for the Army, Police and special units Weight: 1.5 - 3.0 kg The helmets can be equipped with earphones and a bullet-proof glass visor.

Military polymer-textile helmets Weight: 1.3-1.5 kg The helmets can be equipped with a shock-absorbing screen and neck-protective unit.

Steel helmets for special forces Feature enhanced protection level Weight: 2.5-3.5 kg Can be equipped with built-in UHF radioset with an operating range of 600 m.
