Joint Stock Company "VELAN" - "Elektroaparat" Plant is specialised in the manufacturing of low voltage electrical equipment including explosive-proof equipment and components applicable everywhere where there is a potential danger of explosive environment - the gas, oil, chemical and other industries.
The range of manufactured equipment includes button operating consoles, end switches, route switches, micro switches, alarm systems, mains connectors for electric currents from 16A to 400A and a voltage of 660V for general industry application, mains switch boards.
The main consumers are located in Russia and the CIS. In 1991 the annual turnover of the Company reached 100 billion Roubles. The export is done through Foreign Trade Organisations to over 40 countries world-wide including to some of the highly developed countries as well.
