About the Programme
International
The Euro*MBA is a truly international MBA programme, with participants of more than 25 nationalities. Using the power of face-to-face residential weeks in six different European countries in combination with on line education. By combining the strengths of six international business schools and universities, the Euro*MBA provides managers with an educational programme with real global status.
Meeting challenges
The programme has one important aim: to equip managers to face the challenges of global business and to enable them to perform strategically in an international context. We achieve this through a wide range of business courses that cover the main issues in management. Furthermore, our residential weeks complement the courses by providing a unique European educational blend, through well-known keynote speakers and management skills training.
Multicultural virtual teams
At the core of our educational programme is teamwork. We believe that only by working in
multicultural virtual teams can participants begin to understand the subtleties of culture. Furthermore, given geographical dispersion of multinationals, global managers need to learn how to work in a virtual environment.
Flexibility
The Euro*MBA programme - especially the on-line learning component - is based on Lotus Notes Group Ware. This allows participants to maintain effective communications and efficiently work on group projects with co-participants around the world and as well as providing them access to a virtual library of scientific articles. This flexible IT-infrastructure allows them to study when and where they want, wherever their work takes them.
International network
The programme attracts dynamic individuals with a strong character who know exactly what they want and who make their own choices. The enthusiasm and genuine attitude and good ambience during the residential weeks bonds them together and creates the basics of a strong international alumni network. This provides a continued broad knowledge base and multicultural perspective that can give them the inside track on international business issues.

Testimony
"When I was studying the Euro*MBA I was responsible for the reorganisation of my division in the Premier Farnell Group, Europe wide and changing places all over Europe every two days was a normal schedule for me. I went to the gym in London, saw my friends in Madrid and studied in the aeroplane and in my hotel room, working together with my Euro*MBA colleagues wherever I was."

Introduction to the Euro*MBA consortium
The Euro*MBA is a programme set up by a consortium of originally five European
educational institutions (and two associate partners). Nowadays the consortium counts three associates as well.
The idea behind the consortium was to ensure a truly European MBA programme that could incorporate both the diversity and quality of education that each institution represents. The Network set-up of the Consortium provides for a wide range of European business experts and ensures close ties with the business community.
The network, especially set-up for the Euro*MBA, includes over 200 faculty members. Their substantial academic and business background brings new conceptual approaches and analytical methods to the course materials without neglecting practical issues and their impact on the business environment.
In addition to the academic staff over 600 associated experts (executives and business consultants) work hand-in-hand forming a dynamic liaison between the universities and business. This exchange is focused on the way training and research should be adapted to new management approaches in an ever changing international economy.
