    Date of commencement Courses usually start every Monday. However some schools set specific dates for beginners courses. Courses for official exam preparation courses (e.g. Cambridge) take place 2 to 3 times per year at fixed dates.
    Accommodation There are many options in terms of accommodation while doing a programme with ESL. You can stay with a host family or in a residence. For juniors, staying with a host family can be a great way to practise the language and discover the daily life of a second home. Staying in a residence, however, can provide great opportunities for socialising.

    Admission requirements Students will be placed in the appropriate level based on their language skills. Other conditions depend on the destination country (obtaining a visa, valid insurance, customs formalities, etc.)
    Contact details for application To enrol you can fill in the online enrolment form and mail or fax it to ESL. They will then confirm your course enrolment within seven days of the receipt of your enrolment form. Your confirmation will also include details of your course and accommodation as well as information on low-cost flight prices to help you find the best rate. In order to secure your place on the course, a deposit is to be paid within 10 days of enrolment. You will receive the final invoice 5 to 6 weeks before your departure which you will need to pay before you depart.

     


    About the Courses


    General English

    Learning a language in the country where it is spoken is fundamental to learning a new language. The right programme will allow a student to be totally immersed in the language and learn while at the same time having fun. The programmes suggested by ESL’s partner schools are aimed to inspire and stimulate young students.

    ESL Languages offers junior English courses that cater for learners aged between 7 and 17. These are especially designed for young students, and there are many different options available for different age brackets. Safe and reputable schools have been selected to ensure that students gain a solid and beneficial experience.

    A language study stay abroad, even if brief, is a very beneficial way of improving vocabulary, written and oral skills. It also offers young people great experience to learn and meet people from all over the world.

    ESL works with carefully selected language schools from over forty different countries to provide quality educational programmes. Since 1997, ESL has been providing courses to enable people to study languages abroad and gain the most from their learning experience.

    Teaching and Supervision

    Teaching usually takes place in the mornings. Lessons are taught by the teacher in their mother tongue. The first day of classes is very important as students will be tested for their language level. After testing, each student will be placed in a class with other international students at the same language level.

    Teachers aim to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere where students can freely communicate and get involved in the class. In the afternoon, leisure activities are led by experienced activity coordinators. Each student will receive a certificate at the end of their stay specifying the length of their stay and the language level reached.
