Admission requirements Our postgraduate taught programmes are designed to provide Master’s degree qualifications for applicants from as wide a field as possible. Applications will normally be accepted from candidates who have:
A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in a relevant discipline;
Or a minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in a non cognate discipline and significant relevant work experience;
Or a recognised appropriate professional qualification.
Students with alternative significant and relevant experience, and/or qualifications, may apply and will be individually assessed for entry or any exemptions.

For students whose native language is not English and was not taught in English for their undergraduate programmes, they must provide evidence of their English language ability. They will need IELTS 6, or an equivalent qualification

The School of the Built Environment

The School of the Built Environment offers management focused, professionally accredited postgraduate taught and undergraduate programmes. Our programmes can be studied full-time or part-time on campus or part-time over the Internet via an interactive virtual learning environment, featuring regular tutor contact and directed support. Studying part-time allows students to combine a career with study.

Our postgraduate programmes have been developed in partnership with the Built Environment industries, to meet their needs for future innovative leaders.
