Joint honours degrees : BA(Hons) Law and Business BSc(Hons) Law and Psychology BA(Hons) Law and Criminology BA(Hons) Psychology and Sociology BA(Hons) Social Policy and Sociology BA(Hons) Criminology and Psychology BA(Hons) Criminology and Sociology BA (Hons) Criminology and Social Policy All full-time degree courses are for three years duration with the exception of the BSc(Hons) Law and Psychology (four years) and the LLB(Hons) Maîtrise en Droit Français (four years). Part-time Courses LLB(Hons) BA(Hons) Social Science and Law Both these courses can be completed within four and a half years and are available in the evenings (two evenings per week). Graduate Diploma Graduate Diploma in Psychology This course is aimed at non-psychology graduates (with some previous study in psychology) and joint-degree psychology graduates whose courses did not have British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation. The course, which can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis, will supply the graduate basis for BPS registration. Successful completion and BPS registration allows graduates to go on to professional or postgraduate courses in areas such as clinical, educational and forensic psychology. The academic year commences in September of each year. Applications for full-time courses should be via UCAS (the Universities Central Admissions Service) and can be made between mid October 2003 and 15th January 2004. The Admissions Tutor will consider late applications. For postgraduate applications, please contact Social Science and Law directly at the address given above under contact details. Applications can be made during the preceding year for a September start, but early application is recommended. |
