AS:MIT course only: EPSRC-supported bursaries (currently a stipend of £7000 and full payment of fees) are available for UK citizens, or EU citizens that have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years, and have graduated, or expect to graduate, with a suitable first or upper second class BSc degree, subject to interview MBBC course only: A number of fully-funded EPRSC studentships are available for UK applicants. EU students are not usually eligible for full EPSRC scholarships but may be eligible to have their tuition fees paid. Self funding students are welcome and encouraged to apply. The Carl Blakey Scholarship of at least £1000 is also available for applicants to the MSc in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry who have not obtained full funding. |
| Admission requirements |
MBBC: Science graduates who wish to develop a multidisciplinary research career at the interface of Life Sciences are invited to apply. Undergraduate degree classification 2:1 or 1st is preferred. CSW & SRC: Minimum 2:2 undergraduate qualification in a science subject is required. |
