MSc in Instrumental & Analytical Methods in Biological & Environmental Chemistry Objectives To provide advanced training in a wide range of analytical and modern instrumental methods to enable graduates to pursue careers in analytical laboratories. The programme is particularly suited for training analysts to solve problems in pharmaceutical related disciplines and also in environmental chemistry. Programme The MSc programme involves nine assessed coursework modules over six months for full-time students, followed by a five month analytical research project. A Diploma in Instrumental & Analytical Methods requires satisfactory completion of the taught modules. Programme Modules
Research facilities include 250, 300 and 400 Mhz FT NMR spectrometers and an area X-ray diffractometer.
