Admission requirements The basic requirement for successful admission to the programme is an honours classification degree. Other qualifications (degree equivalent) will be considered, with entry being subject to the University’s judgement that the person has reasonable expectation of being able to fulfil the requirements of the award.

In order to ensure language ability, all international students, for whom English is not their first language, are required to provide evidence of linguistic ability, by achievement of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 570 prior to receiving an unconditional offer of a place on the programme.

Management Development

Department of Marketing


The Marketing Department is one of the largest in the School and has several areas of research interest. The group teaches a number of general Marketing and International Marketing modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the School and also delivers course to corporate clients, including the major Oil and Gas Company in Algeria. Several staff are active members of various professional bodies, including the Academy of Marketing, as well as the chartered Institute of Marketing.

The group has a number of different research areas in the field of marketing, international marketing, retailing and tourism management.
