    Course/Program description

The leisure and food industries are important contributors to the economies of the UK and the wider European Community. They continue to provide expanding employment opportunities for well qualified graduates. Our wide range of undergraduate courses are carefully designed to equip our students for that first step on a career path in one of our industry sectors. The latest figures show that 75 per cent of our graduates are in employment within six months of graduation.

Our courses are developed in collaboration with industry. Each undergraduate course provides you with the opportunity to:
*acquire the academic, technical and management capability relevant for first employment.
*lay a foundation for future study as your career develops.
*include a period of work or study abroad with our sandwich courses.
*choose from a range of options, including foreign languages, according to your special interests.

The programme of postgraduate courses is aimed at:
*graduates seeking an appropriate qualification for entry into the leisure and food industries.
*those already working in the industry who want to improve their qualifications and career development.

All the courses are flexible enough so that you can tailor your studies to your own requirements and experience.
