| Admission requirements | General admission requirements Applicants must have completed the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 (Form Six or five O-levels plus at least two A-levels) or near-equivalent standing and specific program prerequisites for admission into any career, technical, or academic program. Please consult a copy of the UCFV academic calendar for detailed admissions requirements for each program. Applicants for the English Second Language Program must have high school or Form Five completion and be at least eighteen years of age. English requirements For direct admission into academic programs students must have TOEFL score of 570 (230 CBT or 88iBT) or IELTS 6.5 or other articulated standardized test of English language proficiency. Applicants with a TOEFL score between 500-569 (173-229 CBT or 61-87 iBT) or an IELTS score of between than 5.0-6.0 are eligible for entrance into the University Foundation program. Applicants with a TOEFL score lower than 500 (173 CBT or 61iBT), or an IELTS score lower than 5.0 must first apply to the ESL program. |
