About Foothill College

Foothill College is a California public community college offering the first two years of college/university study for the bachelor's degree. Since opening in 1958, Foothill College has emerged as one of the outstanding community colleges in the United States. Classes are small: the average class size is 30-35 students, allowing for a lot of personal attention from the faculty. We are nationally accredited and offer over 70 transfer programs and 30 career programs.

Our success is confirmed by a strong record of student success: of all the international students who complete their first two years at Foothill, most successfully transfer into their third year (as juniors) at one of the world-class public or private universities in California.

Foothill College is located 40 miles south of San Francisco and 15 miles north of San Jose in the safe community of Los Altos Hills
