Pine Manor College is a small, private, 4-year, liberal arts college for women located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, just minutes from downtown Boston. Pine Manor College has nine majors and over 50 areas of concentration, including pre-professional programs. The majors attracting the most students are Psychology, Teacher Education, Business Administration, Biology, and English. Other popular majors include Visual Arts, Social and Political Systems, Communications, and History. The College also offers a 2+2 articulated transfer program with Boston College in Nursing.

The curriculum is based on 12 learning outcomes. Each student has opportunity to reflect on her learning experience and demonstrate to herself and others what she has learned by presenting a portfolio at the end of sophomore year and again at the end of her senior year. A student's portfolio takes the form she chooses and is created with guidance from faculty, staff and peers. An internship is required for all students during the senior year. We have over 1000 sites for students to choose from and the list grows each year.

Nearly 75 colleges and universities are located in the metropolitan area of Boston, so there is always something for a college student to do. On-campus clubs and organizations also provide ample opportunity for community service, social involvement, and fun. Pine Manor offers seven varsity sports in NCAA Division III, including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, softball, volleyball, cross country and tennis.
