    Student body: 315 full-time students. Staff: 5 professors, Doctors of Sciences; 20 associate professors, Candidates of Sciences; 9 senior lecturers and lecturers.

    Chairs: inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, physical chemistry of high molecular compounds, analytical chemistry.

    Majoring in: chemistry (inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry of polymers and polymeric composite materials, chemistry of solids and new inorganic materials).

    Basic academic disciplines: chemistry (inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physica lchemistry, analytical chemistry, high-molecular compound chemistry, crystal chemistry, colloid chemistry, chemical engineering, physical research methods, higher mathematics, physics, computers and programming, majoring subjects).

    Major fields of research: the mechanism and kinetics of high-temperature chemical and electrochemical processes in fused ion electrolytes (rust protection of metals); solid-phase synthesis processes and methods of analysis of new oxide materials; thermodynamics of interaction between components and their compatibility in polymetric systems; sorptional and diffusional properties and gas permeability of polymetric materials; bifurcation organic compound synthesis (formation of photostabilizers, surface-active compounds, complexons).
