Churchill House founded in 1971, is located in Ramsgate in the beautiful county of Kent in the South East of England. Ramsgate is a small friendly seaside town with an attractive harbour and a sandy beach. We are only 20 minutes from the historic city of Canterbury and less than 2 hours from London.

Almost 30 years of experience and development have enabled us to create a well-balanced learning programme for you combining excellence in teaching, accommodation and leisure. We are open throughout the year offering 2 to 50 week Main and Intensive courses, Academic Year programmes, Pre-University courses, Cambridge First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency courses, TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS, Executive Courses, One-to-One, Teacher Training and English Home Tuition (professional and general).

We have a first rate academic record and are famous for our very high success rate in the University of Cambridge Examinations. Churchill House welcomes students from over 40 countries so has a truly international atmosphere All classes are taught by our fully qualified and experienced staff using the most modern and dynamic teaching methods. Our facilities include an individual learning centre and language laboratory with Internet cafe and free Internet access.

Accommodation is arranged with our friendly and experienced host families, all known personally to us and living close to the school. In Summer, Residential Courses in London and Cheltenham, Ardingly and Bedford are also available to students from 10 years of age.

Our Social Club organises a daily programme of activities and sports. Day trips to Britain's loveliest cities like London, Oxford and Cambridge, weekend trips to Paris, Amsterdam, Bruges and 4 times a year a wonderful week touring Scotland. The House has its own traditional English pub, the Churchill Tavern, where you can meet local people in a friendly and safe atmosphere. Churchill's Clubroom is open each night for the exclusive use of our students, with something different on offer every evening, from discos to cabaret and from live music to karaoke.
