Foundation pathway These will prepare you for undergraduate degrees in subjects such as business, computing, humanities, hospitality and tourism, law, politics, social sciences or education. You will gain knowledge of the subjects and improve your academic English and study skills. • International Foundation Diploma • Foundation Diploma in Liberal Arts Pre-Masters pathway These prepare you for postgraduate study. You have the opportunity to specialise in a subject of your choice through from the range of subjects offered at Oxford Brookes. You will also improve your study skills and use of academic English. • Pre-Masters Diploma • Pre-Masters Certificate Academic English pathway These improve your English language skills for university study at a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate level • Certificate in English Language Studies • English for University Studies (Levels 1-4) International Summer School This range of course will improve your English for academic or everyday purposes • University Pre-Sessional • IELTS Preparation • General English Our courses are taught by highly qualified academic staff. They are specialists in English for Academic Purposes, who have many years of teaching experience in the UK and overseas. We are accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English. |

| Student accommodation |
The university has seven halls of residence each with a team of hall wardens and assistants to help you settle in and deal with any problems that may arise. As an international student you will be given priority in university accommodation during your first year of study provided you meet the application deadline. Private rented accommodation is also available throughout Oxford. |

| Student grants / Financial assistance | Scholarships are offered of up to 50% of the tuition fees. There are four scholarships for our foundation programmes and two for our Pre-Master’s Diploma available in each academic year. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive essay. |
