The Warwick MBA is an academic experience embedded in a philosophy that values flexibility, relevance, currency, applicability and the international dimension. It offers exchange opportunities, internships, professional support, high quality accommodation and facilities, networking opportunities and the chance to work with course participants in multi-cultural teams. The Warwick MBA enjoys global recognition for its leading edge thinking and world-leading resources. We offer one of the most flexible programmes in the UK today, with students able to select from one of three different ways to learn. All electives are "open" to students of any study mode, allowing them the benefit of selecting the mode which is most suitable at any time, and extending the international networking opportunities of individual participants. The Warwick MBA offers a truly international experience, with participants from over 100 different countries. Our students therefore quickly develop the skills needed to work within this international environment, along with knowledge and awareness of different cultures and practices. This international experience goes beyond the classroom, with our 21,000 members of the Business School's alumni available for networking. The Warwick MBA has recognized the need to allow for new thinking and new approaches to teaching and learning. Whilst retaining much of the traditional MBA formula in terms of a functional core, and a more flexible array of electives, our study pattern has been adapted to also incorporate the following: In addition, Warwick is one of only two UK business schools to be a member of the Program in International Management, a global network of reputed business schools that collaborate closely on exchange programmes. The 12 month full-time programme is divided between core modules and electives. The seven core modules cover the core disciplines of management and key business processes. Elective modules allow you to build expertise in depth across a number of areas of management. In addition, there is a requirement to study language courses with the acclaimed five star-rated Language Centre within the University. The final part of the programme is a consultancy project supervised by a member of the faculty. Projects are normally sponsored by outside companies and involve close contact with senior management. Students can also choose to extend their MBA by undertaking an internship or an exchange programme. Warwick Business School (WBS) is universally acknowledged as one of Europe's best university business schools. The rigorous standards it sets in both teaching and research have won formal accreditation from management associations in the USA, Europe, and the UK. It is a department of the highly-rated University of Warwick, and is sited on an attractive and spacious parkland campus with the full range of social, cultural and sporting facilities. The complete business school, WBS provides undergraduate, specialist masters, MBA and research degrees, a growing executive short course programme, and specialist research centers covering the major aspects of working life. With 300 staff members and around 4,000 students from over 70 countries registered on 17 major programmes, WBS is one of the largest business schools in Europe. Almost half the students come from outside the UK. The lively and active Alumni Association has over 21,000 members around the globe.
