Webber International University was founded in 1927. The four-year, independent, coeducational university is located on a 110-acre campus along the shoreline of Lake Caloosa, 45 minutes from Disney World, Cypress Gardens, and many other attractions. The town of Babson Park, a small, residential community, is located in the heart of Florida's citrus country near a chain of freshwater lakes. The area has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Webber International University offers bachelor's and associate's degrees in business administration, with nine majors: accounting, finance, global business, hospitality business management, management, international tourism management, marketing, pre-law, and sport management. The university also offers a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program with options in management, accounting, and sport management.
More than 60 percent of Webber's full-time faculty members hold doctoral degrees. The faculty/student ratio is 1:19, and all students are assigned a faculty adviser. |
